Personal effects shipments to California & Hawaii require a Gypsy Moth inspection report to be completed and given to the driver. Some states like NC have large numbers of gypsy moths. California & Hawaii are stopping shipments before entry for inspections. If the shipper can’t supply an inspection report the freight can be refused entry.
You can find a copy of the required form on the freight page, please download a copy for your files and anytime you ship personal effects to CA or HI remember to include it with the BOL to the driver.
