It’s that time again! The AMBC Board of Directors is in need of one or two more AMBC Members to come on board and help steer our organization.
As a member-run non-profit organization, AMBC is guided by its member-nominated and member-elected board of directors. Board members are AMBC Members who volunteer their time to serve with term limits, meeting an average of once per month on a Zoom call to discuss and vote on the organization’s direction, help with special projects as needed and able, and participate in conversations to help the AMBC staff and team serve AMBC Members with respect, professionalism, empathy, and positivity.
AMBC board member nominees should be AMBC Members in good standing who have a good rapport with their peers, at least a few years of experience in this industry, a creative out-of-the-box way of thinking, a proven track record of participation in and attendance at industry events, and a helpful and kind attitude.
If you know an AMBC Member or two who you feel would be an asset to the board and provide value for your fellow members, please submit your nomination(s) to the AMBC team by emailing your suggestion to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once nominations are in and accepted by those nominated, we’ll hold a membership-wide vote.
Nomination and election of the AMBC board is an important responsibility of AMBC Members, and we are very grateful for your thoughtful consideration.
